The Women's Fund of the Community Foundation of Southeastern MA, established in 2001, supports programs that develop, promote and protect the mind, body, spirit and choices of women and girls. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for women and girls in our region. We know that women in Southeastern MA, like women across the world, deserve equal opportunties in the workplace, in the classroom and in their communities. We envision a level playing field and take a proactive stance to bring it about.

The Women's Fund strives to:

  • Ensure that women and girls are a funding priority in our region
  • Invest in programs and collaborations that teach women and girls the skills they need to succeed and thrive
  • Help grantees, local and state government and our community partners to see that:
    • every girl in Southeastern MA graduates from high school
    • every woman in the region is able to adequately work and care for herself or her family with access to quality affordable child care, health care and housing
