IRA Rollover Provision extended for 2010 and 2011. In December, the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 was signed, extending the IRA rollover provision to apply to transfers occurring in 2010 and 2011. This provision allows individuals to transfer amounts from their IRA accounts directly to charity without first having the recognize the distribution as income.
