Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, with friends Nearly 400 guests came to Round Hill in South Dartmouth on Sept. 9 for the Community Foundation's annual end-of-summer gala celebration, Summer's Last Blast VII, which raised more than $80,000 to benefit the Community Foundation! The guests enjoyed a perfect late-summer evening, and dined on gourmet food by Christian's Catering of Lafrance Hospitality and Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms, top shelf beverages by CV Liquors, and dancing to the Diane Blue band.
